The biennial election of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) will be held on 5 May this year.
The FBCCI announced the election schedule on Saturday, said Professor Md Ali Ashraf, chairman of the election board of the organisation.
As per the election schedule, the member organisations of FBCCI will have to pay their subscription fees by 6 March next.
The preliminary voter list will be published on 13 March, and will go through scrutiny, and then the final list will be released on 24 March.
The last date for filing nominations for the post of directors, both elected and nominated, has been set for 31 March.
Earlier, ahead of the announcement of the schedule, the election board and election appeal boards were formed on 6 February.
Professor Md Ali Ashraf is the chairman of the election board, while former FBCCI director Jahangir Alamin will chair the election appeal board.
