Digital Healthcare Solutions to provide discounts for BRAC Bank TARA customers

Brac Bank has signed an agreement with Digital Healthcare Solutions to develop special healthcare package and offer exclusive benefits to its TARA customers.
Digital Healthcare Solutions will offer a customized healthcare package at a special discounted price to Brac Bank SME TARA Uddokta customers and Brac Bank Employee Banking (EB) TARA Elite customers. The customers can avail the discounted healthcare package upon opening EB Elite or TARA Uddokta accounts, said press release on Wednesday.
The digital healthcare package includes a yearly cash coverage of Tk40,000 on hospitalisation, life insurance worth Tk10,000, free chats and video counseling with doctors, appointment booking facility with more than 1,000 specialist doctors, maternity benefits, special coverage for mothers, up to 35% discount at more than 1,000 partner outlets, and many more.
Andrew Smith, the chief commercial officer of Digital Healthcare Solutions and Mahiul Islam, head of retail banking at BRAC Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.
Parvez Ahmad, corporate business lead from Digital Healthcare Solutions and Khondker Emdadul Haq, head of employee banking; Shajed Al Haque, senior manager, business transformation, emerging corporate, SME banking were also present during the signing.
The signing ceremony took place on a limited scale, ensuring social distance and safety measurements of the participants at the head office of Brac Bank in Dhaka's Tejgaon.
