Online shopping platform Daraz Bangladesh organised its signature campaign 'DarazMall Festival' on the e-commerce giant's web and application platforms from January 17-23.
Attractions such as vouchers (coupons), brand of the day, brand flash sales (2 brands per day continuing for 3 hours), 21-taka free shipping (on 21st January), brand-free shipping, and price points (499, 999, 1999) made this campaign all the more happening.
A total of 450 sellers registered for DarazMall Fest 2021. There was a 50 percent uplift in the number of total orders placed during the festival in comparison to regular non-campaign periods.
There were 63,000 orders placed at the fest, which was 110 percent higher than the last festival. Meanwhile, overall sales experienced a 128 percent uplift as well.

Most popular brands of this year's fest were Esquire Electronics, Singer, Apex, NOAH, Dettol, Samsung, Shaver Shop Bangladesh, TP-Link, Mozammel Rice, and Walton; wherein mobiles & tablets, health & beauty products, groceries, televisions, computers & laptops were among the most-sold categories.
Products that posted the highest sales were realme C17 smartphone, Samsung front loading washing machine, Walton Prelude N5000 laptop, Mozammel special miniket rice (20Kg), MI 4S 55″4k HD Android HDR LED TV (European), Teer Advanced Soya Bean Oil, 8 Box Planet Perfumed Pocket Tissue and Google Play Gift Card $5 US.
