Daraz announces the names of 3 lucky winners of its "Make a Wish" campaign

Daraz Bangladesh has announced the names of three lucky winners of the "Make a Wish" campaign that it initiated from October 23 on the occasion of its upcoming "Eleven Eleven" (11.11) event.

Under this special campaign, the company fulfilled the wishes of lucky customers that they expressed through Facebook, said a press release issued by Daraz on Sunday.

Through this event, Daraz has received a lot of wishes from their customers out of which 3 significant wishes were selected.

The 3 lucky wishes are: Buying food for 11 helpless families for TK. 1,111 which was wished by Emdadul Haque Ripon (a student by profession and collection point agent), The wish of Tushar Majumdar of Barisal to visit St Martin's Island and Mohammad Monir Uddin's (who has been recently employed as a junior associate at Daraz) wish to attain a job at Daraz to run a dignified and prosperous life.

This attractive campaign is still ongoing and customers can still participate in this "Make a Wish,'' campaign, the release added.

A total of 1800 global and domestic brands and more than 150,0000 registered sellers participated in the campaign from 5 countries. 

Users can avail huge discounts, play the one- taka game and take part in Mission 11.11 to win exciting prizes the release said.

11.11 comes at a time when most economies and its people are facing significant challenges.

The 11.11 Shopping Festival not only offers sellers the chance to make a recovery and boost their sales, but also allows those customers, who have been affected by the pandemic, a chance to get their necessities and favorite products at the lowest prices, the release added.

Regarding the campaign, Daraz CEO Bjarke Mikkelsen said "There are many businesses which suffered during these unprecedented times in our markets. This sparked a realization, stronger than ever before, regarding the importance of a digital presence."
