China’s Wanya International concludes import commodity promotion conference
China's Wanya International Import Commodity Pavilion Phase II Investment Promotion Signing Conference was successfully concluded in Tongcheng County of Hubei province in China.
Wanya group hosted the conference at the Tongcheng Wanya International Trade Centre on Monday.
A total of 32 foreign merchants from Bangladesh, Iraq, South Korea, Yemen, Afghanistan, Mauritius, Pakistan, and about 200 domestic merchants attended the conference and signed the souvenir.
During the conference, 20 foreign businessmen were recognised as "International Investment Attracting Ambassadors" and have been awarded with crests and certificates.
Taha Ali Ihaya, Basha Zen spoke as foreign merchants present at the conference.
They urged the authorities concerned to set up a special commodity hall inside the huge commercial platform of Tongcheng Wanya International Import Commodity Centre to help bring in more ethnic costumes, textiles, handicrafts products, leather products, high-quality rice, and fresh fruits from foreign ventures.
At the same time, they hoped that they will expand further expand their foreign trade with Wanya and at the same time help enrich their country's foreign reserves.
After the conference, the foreign delegates paid a visit to the factories located at Tongcheng.
Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Xianning Municipal People's Congress and Secretary of the County Party Committee XiongYaping, Vice President of China Federation of Commerce Luo Yulong, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Mayor Li Mingdeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Director of the County Office Hu Zhongxiong, General Manager of Shanghai Hongqiao Free Trade City Tian Hao and General Manager of Boyu Exhibition Service Co., Ltd ZhongJiamei, Deputy County Mayor Xiang Xiaobin, Deputy County Mayor Shu Changjun, Director of the County Economic Development Zone Xu Honglin and officials from relevant government departments attended the investment conference.
