BTMA gets new board of directors

Bangladesh Textile Mills Association has made a new board through an uncontested election for the next two years term of 2021-2023.

Sayed Nurul Islam, CEO of well group Industries made the announcement on Monday night as a newly elected director.

In the exercise of the power conferred in Clause-17(1) of the Trade Organization Rules-1994, the Election Board of BTMA declared a total of 27 Candidates as 'Elected Uncontested' for the next board, said sources.

On 7 April, the newly elected directors will elect the next president and three Vice presidents.

The BTMA election board is headed by Abul Basher as chairman, while Eng. Shafiqur Rahman and Tayabul Huq are members of the Election Board.
 
The new board members are - Mohammad Ali Khokon, Managing director of Maksons Soinnin Mills Limited, who also the current president of BTMA.

The other board members are--Md. Rezaul Karim from Reedisha Texstripe Limited., Muhammad Mohsin from Saad Musa Fabrics Ltd., Md. Azahar Khan from Mithela Textile Industries Ltd., and Rashidul Hosan Rinto Chistia Sizing Mills, Md. Fazlul Hoque from lsraq Textile Mills Ltd, Md. Moshararf Hossain from Moshararf Composite Textile Mills, Md. Monir Hossain from Fariha Spinning  Mills Ltd., Md Saleudh Zaman Khan from NZDY FLax Spinning Ltd., Md. Masud Rana from Asia Composite Mills Ltd., M. Solaiman from Hajee Hashem Spinning Mills Ltd., Syed Enayet Kabir from Techno Textile Mills Ltd., Eng.
