bKash greeting cards make ‘Send Money’ more memorable

With these cards, customer can convey good wishes, express gratitude, or share the emotion of love to the person he or she is sending money

TBS Report

bKash has launched a new feature on Send Money service with which 52 million bKash users will be able to send personalised greeting cards to their loved ones on special occasions besides sending money.

With these cards, customer can convey good wishes, express gratitude, or share the emotion of love to the person he or she is sending money. Receiver can make one's special moments more memorable and joyful by sharing the greeting card on social media platforms, reads a press release.

To do that, customer needs to find the 'Select your purpose' tab at the bottom of the screen after selecting a recipient for sending money in bKash app. User can choose any one from 'Send Money', 'Gift', 'Birthday', 'Wedding', 'Anniversary', 'Congratulations', 'Good Luck' and 'Thank You' options.

On the eve of the Eid festival, Mushfiq noticed a number of posts requesting him to send 'Salami' via bKash.

Tanu, who has become a mother recently, receives a message from his uncle - "I have sent you money through bKash for your child. Buy something you like".

Pratyush receives a phone call after passing admission test in Dhaka University when his aunt says, "You have done so well in the exam. I have sent you some money through bKash. Purchase a mobile phone, my dear."

Every year on his birthday, Shovon receives a gift of money in his bKash account from his sister.

Likewise, countless stories of sending or receiving gifts are created every day with the 'Send Money' service of bKash.

The practice of giving and receiving money as gifts is a long tradition and it has been digitalised with the passage of time.

With the touch of technology, it has become easier, hassle-free and more practical to send a gift to loved ones instantly. As a result, using Send Money of bKash to stay by the side of near and dear ones in special moments has got momentum.

Suppose, a customer is sending a gift on the occasion of someone's wedding. In that case, the 'wedding' icon has to be selected. Going to the next step by typing the amount of money, the 'Update your card message' icon will appear.

If the customer wants, he or she can keep the written message or write a new one. Then, customer needs to write the name in the 'Signature' part. In next step, Send Money will be completed by entering bKash pin.

The customer, who has received money with a greeting card, will see a gift box in device's notification area. Once the receiver unwraps the gift box by opening bKash app, it will show the received amount and the personalised message.

This makes receiving money memorable. The greeting cards can be shared on any medium including social media where the message will be shown only, not the amount of money.

New cards will be continuously added to the greetings section for important festivals like Pohela Boishakh, Eid, etc. However, customers who do not want to use these can send money without any greeting card by selecting only the "Send Money" option from greetings section.

Gifts can make memories stay forever. Thus, customers are now using bKash greeting cards to keep the memories alive digitally.
