3 unis win Clemon “Clean Campus Green Campus” award

Clemon recently picked three winners for their  "Clean Campus Green Campus" competition seeking to utilise innovative ideas from youth. 

The judges chose the winner from the shortlist of 10 after receiving a total of 587 idea submissions from the young contestants of the country, said a press release. 

The top three winners of the Clemon "Clean Campus Green Campus" competition were awarded on 13 April at the premises of Akij House. 

Syed Alamgir, managing director of Akij Venture Group was present on the occasion as well as other higher officials too. 

After handing over the prizes to the winners, Syed Alamgir said, "A number of innovative ideas have come into light through the Clemon 'Clean Campus Green Campus' competition. Undoubtedly, these ideas will be  used for the welfare of the people of the country." He expressed hope that Clemon's such initiatives will continue in the future. 

The American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB) won first place in the 'Clemon Clean Campus Green Campus' competition and received a scholarship of Tk1 Lac. 

Jahangirnagar University and  Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) bagged the first and second runner-up positions and they received scholarship amounts of Tk50,000 and Tk30,000 respectively.
