Walton, the leading multinational electronics company in Bangladesh, has awarded 26 individuals and organisations across the country for their outstanding branding performances under its ongoing Digital Campaign Season 8. 

The company is continuing the campaign to boost its digital registration initiative to provide customers with online-based swift and best after sales services, said a media statement on Saturday. 

In the digital registration, the details of customers their purchased products including the name of customers, their contact numbers and the models of the purchased products are being stored on a server so that they can avail the after sales services from any Walton service center any time, even if the warranty card is lost. 

Under the Digital Campaign Season-8, customers of Walton fridge, washing machine and microwave oven are getting up to 500 percent sure cash vouchers or lots of free products like fridge, television, air conditioner and blender.

Marking this campaign, a programme titled 'Best Branding Award and Best Area Manager Award-2020' was held at the Walton corporate office in the capital on Thursday. Walton's new smart fridge of '6A9' model was also introduced in the function.

Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited Vice-Chairman SM Shamshul Alam, Managing Director SM Ashraful Alam, Directors SM Mahbubul Alam, Tahmina Afroz Tanna, Raisa Sigma Hima, Zakia Sultana, Mahbub Alam Mridul, Rifah Tasnia Swarna and Sabiha Jarin Orona joined the event through video-conferencing.

The company's Additional Managing Director Golam Murshed, Deputy Managing Directors Nazrul Islam Sarker, Eva Rezwana Nilu and Amdadul Hoque Sarker, Executive Directors SM Zahid Hasan, Humayun Kabir, Md Rayhan, Dr Md Sakhawat Hossen, Amin Khan, Firoj Alam, Deputy Executive Director Shahjada Selim and Senior Additional Director Milton Ahmed were also present, among others, in the programme.

The guests handed over crests and certificates to the awardees. In addition to the various benefits provided in the season-8 for the branding of the digital campaign, special emphasis was also given on public awareness on coronavirus pandemic.
