Youth dies of dengue in Khulna

A youth died of dengue fever, a mosquito-borne disease, while undergoing treatment at the Khulna Medical College Hospital on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Sajib Khan, 22, of Putibari of Gopalganj.  

Sajib was admitted to the hospital with dengue fever on Tuesday afternoon and died around 6:30 pm, said Dr Shailendranath Biswas of Khulna Medical College Hospital. 

According to the Khulna Civil Surgeon Office sources, 21 deaths from dengue have been reported in Khulna so far.
