YFB maintained social distance while arranging the event

Youth for Bangladesh (YFB), a voluntary organisation on Saturday arranged iftar for 500 people to observe the first day of Ramadan at the capital's Kamalapur Railway Station.

YFB maintained social distance while arranging the event and marked the area asking people to sit in their designated spaces to maintain a safe distance.

"Everyone is staying at home for their safety, however, there are lots of people who do not have shelter, so we are trying to help them as much as we can," said Shenanur Rahman Asif, President, YFB.

"We have arranged Iftar for 500 people this time and this number will increase in the upcoming days", he added.

YFB has also been running different projects to help the people such as free 15 days' food items for the poor people, ready food distribution, free medical advice service etc.

Recently they have started to sell '10days' food at TK10 among the middle class and lower middle income people.
