Woman dies of dengue in Khulna

Eleven people including woman and children have died of dengue in the district so far

A woman diagnosed with dengue died at the Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) on Tuesday night.  

The deceased Rahima Begum, 50, wife of Rafiqul Islam Morol, hailed from Azrail village under Tala upazila in Khulna.  

Rahima was admitted to the KMCH's dengue ward on September 9. She was later shifted to the ICU of the hospital as her condition deteriorated, said Dr Sailendranath Biswas, resident medical officer of KMCH.

She breathed her last around 11:30pm, he added.  

Eleven people including woman and children have died of dengue in the district so far.
