Women proves their capabilities whenever they get a chance, said Meher Afroz Chumki, chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs on Monday.
The education minister made the remarks while addressing an online discussion named 'My Dream, My Identity' to mark the International Women's Day.
Speaking as a special guest at the discussion, she said, "We are women, we can do everything. Women can exhibit their capabilities whenever they get a chance. But there are created in the way of such opportunities. However, with the help of the prime minister, women will overcome all obstacles and take the country forward."
The discussion session was organised by Women and E-Commerce Forum (WE), the largest platform for women entrepreneurs.
At the same time, the Japan Chapter was inaugurated to mark the beginning of WE's footprint in Japan.
In the inaugural discussion of the Japan Chapter, the Education Minister said that there are some shortcomings in the professional work of women entrepreneurs. If there are deficits, it will be difficult for women entrepreneurs to get loan facilities. That is why if we can train women entrepreneurs, they will be able to go further. The farther women go, the farther the country will go.
"We want to organise the curriculum in such a way that entrepreneurs can be trained," she said, adding, "Arrangements should be made to train entrepreneurs by introducing short courses in colleges and universities."

Sonia Bashir Kabir, founder and managing director of SBK Foundation, Anindita Ghosh, account director of Disney (Starsports) and Sheikh Lima, director of WI Executive Committee were also present at the discussion.
