The investigation officer (IO) of the case, Airport police station sub inspector Shafiqul Islam produced the accused before the court today. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain recorded the confessional statement and ordered to send her to jail.

Earlier on September 5, Mousumi was detained with the gold bars at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
