Two seriously injured workers have been sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital

Six workers were injured as the roof of an under-construction garments factory collapsed in Chattogram city. 

The accident took place at 12:45 pm on Monday in Baluchara area under Bayazid Bostami police station when the roof of under-construction building of Four H Group collapsed during casting work, leaving them injured, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Priton Sarkar told The Business Standard.

Two seriously injured workers have been sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital.

The rest are being treated at the factory's own hospital, he added.

Inspector Zahirul Haque Bhuiyan, in-charge of Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost said the police brought in the injured for treatment.
