Two more bodies have been found floating by the Coast Guards at east side of Chhera Dip area in St. Martin's Island on Monday morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Lt Nayemul Haque, station commander of coast guard, confirming the matter said, "A patrol team found the bodies of two middle-aged men afloat at 9:30am."

"We are guessing that they were passengers of the trawler that capsized with more than one hundred Rohingyas while going to Malaysia illegally on February 11," he added.

The bodies were taken to Teknaf Model police station around 11:30 am by Coast Guard members.

Earlier, 16 bodies were recovered, while around 50 people remained missing after a boat with around 120-125 Rohingyas on board sank in the Bay on February 11.

Later three dead bodies of women and man were found afloat.

On February 12, a case was filed accusing 19 human traffickers. Of them, police detained eight traffickers so far.
