Two Additional Attorneys General - Murad Reza and Md Momtaz Uddin Fakir - have resigned.
They both submitted their resignation letters to the President Abdul Hamid through the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Momtaz Uddin Fakir said he resigned citing personal reasons.
However, Murad Reza did not mention any reason for his resignation.
Earlier on October 8, Supreme Court Bar Association President AM Amin Uddin was appointed as the new attorney general after previous attorney general Mahbubey Alam died of Covid-19 on September 27.
