Launches will not be allowed to carry motorcycles for 10 days starting from five days before the Eid-ul-Azha.

The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (6 July).

Earlier on 3 July, the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) prohibited motorcycles from inter-district travel for seven days – before and after Eid.
