Grameenphone tells everyone to stay safe at home

Earlier on March 17, mobile operator Grameenphone, as well as Robi and Banglalink started encouraging their staff to work from home in the wake of coronavirus

Grameenphone has started showing a cautionary message 'Stay Home' next to the signal bar on their subscribers' phones.

Starting from Sunday evening, this had been done as a part of the awareness drive of the operator.

"Grameenphone users have already noticed a cautionary message 'Stay Home' next to the signal bar on their phone. Grameenphone believes this small yet useful reminder will help drive awareness and inspire others to be safe," a press release issued by Grameenphone reads. 

"We have been working relentlessly to driving awareness, minimize risk, and maintain the necessary safety measures for all. As we have a bigger responsibility to serve our customers better who need us most in this time of uncertainties," the press release further reads.

Earlier on March 17, mobile operator Grameenphone, as well as Robi and Banglalink started encouraging their staff to work from home in the wake of coronavirus.

Bangladesh reported first death from coronavirus on March 18 and second death on March 21. The number of infected patients stood at 27 as of today.
