Besides 5G testing, there is another play-zone where visitors can experience real-time virtual reality (VR) test through 5G technology

An overwhelming flock of crowd was seen at Huawei's pavilion on the second day of the first installment of the 'Digital Bangladesh Fair', being held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre of Agargaon in the capital. Huawei is the titanium sponsor of the fair.

The main attraction of the fair is Huawei's 5G experience booth. The three-day-long Digital Bangladesh Fair 2020 will continue till January 18.

On the first day of the fair yesterday, a good number of visitors were spotted in the pavilion. Visitors of all ages could be seen crowding inside the pavilion today. However, in comparison, the number of young visitors is higher than older visitors. Students of various schools, colleges and universities are coming in groups for experiencing 5G for free. The speed of real-time 5G experience is leaving them fascinated and excited.

"Unbelievable! I am literally impressed with 5G experience" Said Tasnim Mitu, a third-year student of Dhaka University.

Raihan Rafi, a student at a private university in the capital, said, "In short, I was amazed and thrilled at the speed of 5G. I would not have believed that such internet speed can be achieved online if I had not experienced it here myself."

Visitors today experienced data transfer at the 5G speed of 1.5GBps. This was made possible by Huawei's long-standing efforts to develop and research 5G. Huawei has spent a decade for the research and development of 5G, and has spent over 4 billion USD in the last ten years alone to ensure leadership in cutting-edge technology and 5G research and standardization with 2,1000+ 3GPP 5G NR Contributions of 5G patents.

Besides 5G testing, there is another play-zone where visitors can experience real-time virtual reality (VR) test through 5G technology. As soon as the visitors are putting on the 5G VR, they find themselves skiing on snow.

Another reason why the Huawei Pavilion is crowded with children is because of the 'Humanoid Robot', a specially designed interactive humanoid robot that is able to play soccer following the command of hand gesture.

Arik Ahsan, a student of class three, is thrilled by experiencing the robot show. His father, Anamul Ahsan, said, "My son is very fond of robots. I brought him here as it is the first time we are experiencing such an exhibition with robots in the country. I want to thank Huawei for giving us the chance to experience 5G and other thrilling technological facilities without any cost."

"The exhibition aims to showcase the advancement of 5G technology in Human-to-Machine or Machine-to-Machine communication," said Nazmul Hasan, Marketing director of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited.

Huawei's 5G mobile phones are also available in the pavilion. The visitors can experience Huawei 5G smartphones and purchase the existing mobile phones from the pavilion.
