Banglalink has launched a digital health service platform ‘Daktarbhai’ to provide its customers with a comprehensive healthcare solution.
The platform has been launched in collaboration with Healthcare Information System Limited (HISL), a service and technology partner of Banglalink.
Erik Aas, CEO, Banglalink at Tiger’s Den, made an official announcement in this regard on Thursday, at the telecom operator’s head office in Gulshan.
Along with enabling the customers to have access to useful health and medical-related information, it will also allow them to avail a wide range of medical facilities.
Electronic personal health records, health directory, medicine reminders, sleep reminders, and health tips are free features of the platform.
The premium service of the platform, however, includes health insurance coverage for diagnostic tests and hospitalization, complimentary life insurance, discounts at hospitals, diagnostic centers, pharmacies and lifestyle outlets, doctors’ appointment and consultation with doctors.
The customers can get all the services by installing and subscribing to ‘Daktarbhai’ from Play Store. One can also just dial the USSD code *16643# from any Banglalink number.
Customers can avail the services in 3 different packs – daily pack at Tk 2.55, monthly pack at Tk 63.75 and yearly pack at Tk 733.13 which includes VAT and taxes.
“This initiative will surely take us one step closer to our vision of adding more values to customers’ lives through quality digital services,” said Erik.
Pierre Boutros Obeid, chief technology officer & acting chief commercial officer of Banglalink and Raihan Shamsi, managing director of Healthcare Information System Ltd. were present at the ceremony.
“The users will benefit from this digital platform as they will just need to make a few taps on their devices to get necessary health service,” said Raihan hoping that the initiative would receive good responses from the users.
