TCB oil recovered from grocery store in Chattogram

A mobile court has recovered 227 litres of government soybean oil from a grocery store at Hathazari upazila in Chattogram Wednesday morning.

The oil of the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) was recovered from Abul Kalam Store at Enayetpur Munia Pukur area of the upazila.

The mobile court fined shop owner Abul Kalam Tk10,000.

Hathazari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ruhul Amin said, "A syndicate bought the oil from TCB and were selling in the store at a higher price."
