RU teacher allegedly sexually harassed female students

10 students of Rajshahi University Fine Arts faculty complained to the university administration against a teacher of the same faculty for sexually harassing them. They gave a charge sheet to the Sexually Harassment Prevention Cell of the university on Wednesday noon, member of the cell and students' adviser of the university Prof. Laila Arjuman Banu assured this to the journalists.
The accused teacher is Graphic Design,Crafts and History of Art department Prof. Amirul Momanin Chowdhury.
Prof. Laila Arjuman Banu said, We got the charge sheet from the female students and are trying to investigate the matter.
According to the charge sheet, The female students were being harassed sexually and mentally by the teacher. That's why they became mentally upset and couldn't attentive to study and other works.
The teacher used to talk in bad taste with us and also used indecent language, said the female students.
Prof. Amirul Momanin Chowdhury's cell phone has been got switched off after calling him for inquiring on the matter.
