Abdul Halim Dulal made the call at a press conference at the District Press Club here at 8pm on Saturday.

The father of Rifat Sharif, who was hacked to death in Barguna Town on June 26, demanded the arrest of his daughter-in-law Ayesha Akter Minni, to investigate whether she had colluded with the killer gang.

Abdul Halim Dulal made the call at a press conference at the District Press Club here at 8pm on Saturday.

He alleged that Minni concealed the matter that she was previously married off to Nayan, who was the main accused of Rifat murder case. She used to visit Nayan’s house frequently.

Besides, instead of trying to protect Rifat on the day, she was busy with herself and even ‘helped the killers’ according to Dulal.

Dulal raised 10-point allegation against Minni who has been made the first witness in the case.

Two siblings of the deceased Abdul Aziz Sharif and Abdus Salam Sharif, among others, were present at the press conference.
