The court, however, placed him on a five-day remand.
The law enforcers, after the completion of the remand tenure, again brought him before the same court, and demanded another seven-day remand.
The court again granted a five-day remand.
After the completion of the second-phase remand, the accused on July 18, admitted his involvement in the murder before the court.
He was in prison since then.
The accused’s lawyer Advocate Golam Mustafa Kader said they submitted an appeal before the Senior Judicial Magistrate’s Court on July 24, seeking bail for him, but that the court had rejected their plea.
Later, a missed case appeal was filed before the District and Sessions Judge’s Court on September 1, and the court, after completing hearing on Wednesday, granted his bail, he added.
