Rain, thunder shower likely
Rain, thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over six divisions in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 AM on Friday.
Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Khulna and Dhaka divisions and the region of Rangamati and Cumilla are likely to see rain and thunder showers, said Met office.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, reads a bulletin from Bangladesh Meterological Department (BMD).
About the synoptic situation, BMD said a rough of Westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area while Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, the Met office said.
