The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today (2 October) arrested former lawmaker of Rajshahi-4 constituency Abul Kalam Azad in connection with a case filed over attacking protestors during the student movement.
He was arrested from the capital's Mirpur area around 8pm, said RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Lt Col Munim Ferdous.
He is accused in a number of cases filed in connection with July-August mass uprising.
