Faroque relieved as Jubo League chairman

Mohammad Omar Faroque Chowdhury has been relieved from all organisational duties of Jubo League, the youth wing of the ruling Awami League.

Faroque was the Jubo League's chairman.

A new age limit of 55 years has also been set for the membership of the front. 

Chayan Islam has been appointed as the convener of the preparatory committee of Jubo League's upcoming council. 

The decision came from a meeting at Ganabhaban chaired by Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. 

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader confirmed the development while talking to the media outside Ganabhaban on Sunday evening.
