Journalist Shafiqul Islam Kajol has been found in Jashore's Benapole about three months after his abduction and disappearance.
His wife Julia Ferdousi told The Business Standard that they got a call from Benapole Port Police Station at midnight today that her husband Kajol has been found at a place close to the border with India.
"Around 2am we got the call and my son Monorom Polok is on his way to meet his father," she added.
Sanaullah Miah, duty officer of Benapole Police Station, said they took him in their custody.
On March 10, the journalist was allegedly abducted by some anonymous persons from in front of his Hatirpool office. Later, his family filed an abduction case.
Just before two days of the disappearance, the journalist was sued by a member of parliament under the new digital security act.
