PM donates Tk1.75cr to families of N'ganj mosque blast victims

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has donated a total of Tk1.75 crore to the families of 35 victims of mosque explosion in Narayanganj.

Tk5 lakh was given to each of the families, said PMO press wing today.

Narayanganj deputy commissioner has been asked to hand over the cheques to the families. 

A gas leakage triggered the explosion and six air conditioners exploded ripping through the mosque during Isha prayer in Narayanganj's Fatullah on September 4 night. Around 150 people were attending the prayer when the incident took place. Of them more than 40 people were injured severely in the blast. The death toll the blast has risen to 34.
