PBI instructed to investigate case against Nasir, Tamima

Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has been instructed to investigate the case, filed against cricketer Nasir Hossain and his newly married wife Tamima Sultana by Tamima's first husband Rakib Hasan.
Earlier Rakib filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Tamima Sultana did not divorce her previous husband. Rakib also made a general diary (GD) at Uttara West police station in this regard.
Rakib got married to Tamima on 26 February in 2011. They also have an 8-year-old daughter.
Rakib came to know about Tamima's marriage with Nasir after their wedding photos went viral on social media on 14 February, the case statement reads.
Rakib in his complain said that Tamima got married again without divorcing him, which is illegal.
