Online workshop held on automation machine usage

The online workshop was organised to encourage entrepreneurs about automation tools usage

The Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has declared free one-month software support to SME entrepreneurs who are willing to use automation machines, said a press release.

SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) Foundation arranged an online workshop on this topic on Sunday 11am.

Managing Director of SME Foundation Md Shafiqul Islam and President of BASIS Syed Almas Kabir spoke at the event.

During the workshop, different member institutions of BASIS gave instructions on Product Category, Accounting and Financial Software, POS, Inventory, HR and Payroll, Integrated Business Application and ERP and Education Institute Management Application. BASIS plans to arrange two more workshops like it in 2020, says the press release.

The participants were informed about the different initiatives being taken by SME Foundation to encourage ICT usage. Workshop on e-commerce, which has become very famous in this pandemic situation; and automation are notable. SME also said that the online workshop was organised to encourage entrepreneurs about automation tools usage.
