The government has set the office timing for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan from 9 am to 3:30 pm for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organisations.
There will be a break for Zuhr prayers from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm in Ramadan. Weekly holidays will be on Friday and Saturday as usual.
The decision was taken today at a regular Cabinet meeting, with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
The holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin on 14 April, according to a press release of Islamic Foundation.
