Sirajul Huq, chairman of Sterling Garments Ltd, died on Thursday night at a hospital in the capital. He was 89.
Sirajul Huq, also former director and treasurer (VP-Fin) of BGMEA and elder brother of Former BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman, breathed his last at 11pm at United Hospital.
Rubana Huq, president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) expressed deep shock at his death.
His Namaz-e Zanaja will be held on Friday after Jummah prayer in the capital, said a press release.
