Journalist Nurul Huda passes away
Huda was suffering from kidney ailments for a long time

Former special correspondent of the state-owned news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Nurul Huda passed away at his own residence in the city's Mirpur journalists' residential area this afternoon.
He was 72.
He left behind his wife, three daughters and a host of relatives and colleagues to mourn his death.
Huda was suffering from kidney ailments for a long time, said family sources.
He served the Jatiya Press Club in different capacities, including senior vice president.
Born at Bikrampur in Munshiganj district, Huda made his debut in journalism on completion of his graduation in English from Dhaka University in early 1970s by joining the (now defunct) Bangladesh Observer.
Later, he worked at different media including BSS.
Huda will be laid to his eternal rest at the Banani graveyard after Maghrib prayers following his namaj-e-janaza there.
