Former Joint Head of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Md Liaquat Ali passed away

The former Joint Head of Fisheries and Livestock, Project Director of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre in Rajshahi, and Joint Secretary to the Government, Md Liaquat Ali has passed away.

Md Liaquat Ali died of Covid-19 at the Central Police Hospital on January 18 at 9 pm. He was 55 years old at the time of his death. He left his wife, three children and numerous admirers.

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Sham Rezaul Karim, Fisheries and Livestock Secretary Raonak Mahmud and other employees have expressed deep grief over his death. All officers and employees of the Ministry of Livestock.

They wished peace to the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Expressing grief, the Fisheries and Livestock Minister said, "Md Liaquat Ali was a skilled and dutiful officer. The death of a meritorious officer like him is an irreparable loss for the country."

The Secretary said, "Md Liaquat Ali was always trying his best to fulfil his responsibilities. His contribution to the Bangladesh Civil Service will be remembered."
