Md Sayedul Hasan (1960-2020), the managing director of the proposed Citizens Bank and former deputy managing director of the Dutch Bangla Bank, died on 16 November at the age of 60.

He was under treatment at Square Hospital. He has been struggling with post-Covid-19 complications for more than one month, says a press release.

He left behind two sons and wife as well as friends, relatives and well-wishers both at home and abroad to mourn his untimely death.

Sayedul Hasan was laid to rest at the Banani graveyard.
