Rabeya Khandakar, 86, had been suffering from old age complications
Rabeya Khandakar, mother of Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar, breathed her last on Sunday.
The 86-year-old had been suffering from old age complications and passed away at a hospital in Dhaka.
She left behind three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives to mourn her death.
Her namaj-e-janaza will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Zuhr prayers on Monday and she will be buried at the Banani Graveyard.
Rabeya Khandakar was the wife of late Md Ali Nawab, a professor at the University of Dhaka.
