Bangladesh lost a patriot, PM says mourning Nasim's death

Sheikh Hasina further said, “Bangladesh lost a patriot and leader of the people with the death of Mohammad Nasim. I lost a faithful comrade.”

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock at the death of the former health minister, Mohammad Nasim.

In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said, "Like his father, Mohammad Nasim had worked for the welfare of the country and the nation following the example of Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He made a unique contribution in establishing the ideology and non-communal consciousness of the liberation war, overcoming all the obstacles."

Sheikh Hasina further said, "Bangladesh lost a patriot and leader of the people with the death of Mohammad Nasim. I lost a faithful comrade."

The Prime Minister prayed for the forgiveness of his departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
