Agrani Bank mourns noted banker Ibrahim Khaled’s death

The former deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank passed away on Wednesday

Agrani Bank Limited has expressed deep shock and condolence at the demise of its former managing director and noted banker Khondkar Ibrahim Khaled.

In a condolence message, the bank said, "Inna Lillahe wa inna lillahe rajeun. We deeply mourn his sad demise."

The Arani Bank family prayed for salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to bereaved family members, a press release says.

Ibrahim Khaled, also former deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank, died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU) early Wednesday. He was 82.

He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
