Many CNG owners got back their stolen vehicles with the help of Obhai VTS tracker

It was around 10:30 in the morning on August 18 when one of the members of Obhai CNG team in Mohammadpur, Ahsan Habib received the call with the information that a CNG of one of Obhai's Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) clients has been stolen.

The news of theft was like a thunder strike for the vehicle owner and she immediately contacted both the Obhai sales and call center teams. Consequently, the recovery team was alerted instantly and headed out in search of the vehicle.

As such, Nazmus Sakeb, sales manager of Obhai Mohammadpur zone decided to follow the vehicle himself along with fellow colleague Mehedi Hasan on a bike as the vehicle's location was traced going towards Shahbagh from Mirpur.

The owners along with the Obhai team came close to the CNG auto-rickshaw a couple of times with the busy traffic hindering its progress.

As the Obhai VTS traced the CNG to be circling around the Shegunbagicha and Shahbagh area, Obhai sales team members Ahsan and Shoeb were on the call with Sakeb and Mehedi, helping them navigate through the busy roads to reach the real-time location of the stolen vehicle.

Suddenly, Sakeb saw the vehicle only a few feet away from them and shouted out as the thief started speeding up. After a short chase from Ramna Park, the thief abandoned the vehicle near press club and left.

It was around 1:30 pm when the vehicle was finally handed over to the happy owners.

This is the third time CNG owners got back their stolen vehicles with the help of Obhai VTS tracker.
