From the very next day after Eid-ul-Fitr, a large number of mobile SIM subscribers are entering the capital every day.

10,65,285 subscribers of four telecom companies in the country entered Dhaka on Wednesday alone, Telecommunications and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar shared the data in a Facebook post today.

The day after Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest number of people returned to Dhaka on Monday when 12,05,878 mobile phone subscribers entered the capital.

In the 12 days till May 15, the day after Eid-ul-Fitr, around 106.46 lakh people left Dhaka for their homes in different districts.
