Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader has said the prime minister has spared none of the accused in Abrar murder case, though they were Chhatra League leaders and activists.

During his visit to Meghnaghat area in Narayanganj today, the minister said all the accused in the murder case had been arrested following the instructions of the premier. The ongoing purge inside the party would continue, he added.

"We do not want any hostile relations with the opposition party. Though there are seven lawmakers of BNP in the parliament, yet, we allotted one reserved women seat to a BNP leader," Quader said.

The opposition lawmakers were saying whatever they like in and outside the parliament and they were never obstructed, he said.

"It has been possible as it is the regime of Sheikh Hasina," the senior Awami League leader added.

Quader also said the conferences of the affiliated organisations of the party, having 7-8 years-old committees, would be held by November this year.
