There is no risk of sabotage activities on 21 February as the law enforcers are alert, said Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Saturday.

He made the remarks while attending a painting competition and cultural programme at a school of Zoom Bangladesh in the capital in the morning, reports Somoy TV.

Minister Kamal urged all the people to work together to build Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

"We have to keep eyes on unprivileged children to avert them from being misguided," he added.

Zoom Bangladesh President Ruhul Amin presided over the programme while its Advisor Engineer Khalek Hossain, Chief Patron Moniruzzaman, Vice-President Jerin Sultana spoke on the occasion.

Zoom Bangladesh has been providing primary education to street children and unprivileged children in several districts, including Dhaka, Jashore, Gaibandha, and Chattogram for the last five years. It also helped around 50,000 destitute people in various ways during the coronavirus pandemic.
