No new construction project in FY2020-21

The government has decided not to take up any new construction project in this fiscal year as a cost-cutting measure to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic.
A circular of the Finance Ministry reads that under the Operating and Development budget for FY2020-21, no new "Notification of Award" will be given for building/construction projects.
