Police yesterday detained nine Rohingyas in Akhaura upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
The detainees include four children and five adults, said Rasul Ahmed Nizami, officer-in-charge of Akhaura Police Station.
They were arrested on their way to the Akhaura Railway Station, the OC said adding that they were trying to cross the border into India from Akhaura upazila.
"They will be sent back to the camps," the OC added.
