Naval warship Pratyay returns to Bangladesh

Pratyay participated in the Idex 2021 and Navdex 2021 exhibitions in Abu Dhabi

After successfully participating in the International Defense Exhibition (Idex 2021) and Navy Defense Exhibition (Navdex 2021) held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Navy warship Pratyay returned to the country on Monday.

Commander BN Fleet's Chief Staff Officer Capt Mostafa Zillur Rahim Khan formally welcomed the ship. On its way back to Bangladesh, the ship stopped in India's Mumbai as well as Sri Lanka's capital, Colombo, read a press release.

Under the leadership of Captain Ahmed Amin Abdullah, the ship participated in the Idex 2021 and Navdex 2021 exhibitions held on 20-25 February, 2021 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The exhibition was attended by: naval ships, high level representatives, observers, military experts, and military personnel from different countries of the world – including Bangladesh.

Participation in this exhibition is expected to play an important role in improving the professional standards of ship's officers and sailors, as well as strengthening good military relations with friendly countries.
