The national professor has been suffering from heart problems and old age complications
National Professor Anisuzzaman has been admitted to the capital's Combined Military Hospital (CMH) with serious ailment following the directive from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Prime minister's Special Assistant Biplab Barua confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
The national professor has been suffering from heart problems and old age complications.
Anisuzzaman is a member of the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Board of Trustees and the Professor Emeritus at the University of Dhaka. He is also the president of Bangla Academy.
