Workers of the garments section of Nassa Group have blocked roads in capital's Tejgaon Industrial area in demand of the payment of their wage for a second consecutive day.

The protest has created a long tailback from Sat Rasta intersection area to Banani flyover route.

Vehicles have been seen stuck in the road for hours causing suffering for the commuters.

"Protesters are not allowing to pass any vehicles," said Salman Hassan, assistant commissioner of Tejgaon Industrial Zone.

"We are trying to control the situation," he added.
