Narendra Modi’s flight schedule changed
The flight schedule of visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been changed.
His flight will depart from Hazrat Shahjahal International Airport at 9pm today, instead of previous schedule 7pm, Somoy TV reported quoting Information Directorate of Bangladesh.
Narendra Modi was scheduled to have a meeting with Sheikh Hasina at 4pm. But it started after 5pm. He will also meet President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban today evening.
Modi arrived in Dhaka on Friday morning on a two-day state visit to join the ongoing celebration of "Mujib Borsho", the centenary of birth of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman that coincides with the country's 50th anniversary of independence.
He joined the celebration programme at National Parade Square in the capital on Friday afternoon.
On Saturday, Modi paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
He also visited two mandirs, one in Satkhira and another in Gopalganj. Later he met the Matua community people in Orakandi, Kashiani Upazila in Gopalganj in the afternoon.
